Cagliari have officially confirmed the signing of Juventus wing-back Mauricio Isla for €4m.

The Chilean international arrived in Sardinia yesterday, having already taken his medical at Rome’s Villa Stuart.

“Mauricio Isla is Rossoblu,” the Isolani confirmed in a statement on their official website.

“The player, who recently won the Copa America with Chile, has moved to Cagliari outright, signing a contract which will tie him to the club for the next three seasons.

“‘El Huaso’ as he’s known by fans is ready for a new adventure in Serie A. He has chosen his favourite shirt number: 3.”
