However, according to reports, Juve are also keen on hiring him, with fears that Massimiliano Allegri could be set to leave Turin.

The current Juventus boss is another that’s been linked with a move to Stamford Bridge, so if Sampaoli does take over at The Old Lady, at least Roman Abramovich will have Allegri as an option.

And if Juve fail to secure the Scudetto, sitting as they are two points behind leaders Napoli, then Allegri may be more than happy to leave the Turin club and clear the way for Sampaoli.
