|Juventus midfielder Stefano Sturaro believes the disallowed goal was crucial in their defeat to Milan.
Referee Nicola Rizzoli ruled-out a Miralem Pjanic goal, but replays showed Leonardo Bonucci had been onside, while Medhi Benatia wasn’t active.
The Rossoneri won the match through a wonder strike from Manuel Locatelli, but Sturaro believes Rizzoli’s error was crucial.
“It was definitely a game decided by an incident,” Sturaro lamented, speaking to JTV.
“The incident was clear. We didn’t get down after that error though, we kept playing and we did our actions.
“We needed to get a goal, we couldn’t get it and then we lost one. It ended badly, but the performance remains and we’ll build from there.”
The Bianconeri face Sampdoria on Wednesday, and Sturaro is expecting a tough test.
“I think they’ll come here to try and avoid submitting to our game, and then look to hurt us when we open up a bit.
“They have quick players, so on an open pitch they can cause problems. They can hurt us, Muriel comes to mind, I saw a bit of the derby with Genoa and on an open pitch he’s very strong.
“Then there’s Quagliarella who our fans know all about. They’re a good team and we have to be careful.”
